Tai Chi at the park and a corn dog story

We spent several hours at the park today and met several interesting people. First were these two older Japanese gentlemen. I was sitting on a bench near the play area while Andrew ran around and one of the gentlemen walked up. He rustled around in his bag then pulled out wipes and began to clean the park seats before sitting.

Then, he walked up in front of me and said in perfect English "Please trade seats with me and I will clean". I moved over to the other seat, and sure enough he cleaned that seat, too. Soon his friend joined him and they began talking to Andrew, asking him how old he was and and playing a semi-chase/semi-peekaboo game with him.

The gentlemen then excused themselves and invited me to join them if I wished. I bowed out, having NO CLUE what they were going to do and Andrew headed for the sandbox. I looked back up and they appeared to be doing Tai Chi or something very similar. The movements were very slow, but they looked so calm. And they were also in perfect sync with one another's movements, so they must do this often. They finished after about half an hour.

After several hours of playing (we gave Grandma time to work on her schoolwork back in the hotel), we stopped at the AM/PM for a quick lunch. Andrew got his customary "American Dog" (corn dog) and we headed back to the park. We parked ourselves near the backside of the waterfall. Andrew's corn dog had to cool, so he went to sit by the waterfall.

He looked so cute and serene lying on his tummy, so I grabbed the camera to take a few shots. A few moments later I hear someone clapping and whistling, so I turn around and see a big black bird (realized later it was a crow) sitting on our stroller. At about that same moment, he took flight with our corn dog in his mouth! Little stinker took Andrew's uneaten corn dog! I snapped a few photos of him sitting atop the waterfall eating his corn dog. Poor kid was so upset. Now everytime we see a bird he says "that crow ate my corn dog".
