Taiko (Drum) Ensemble

While we are perusing up and down the many aisles drawn with string at the local flea market, Andrew's ears perk up at the sound of drumming somewhere nearby. We follow the sound up the stairs and voila, there they are.

A Japanese taiko ensemble (taiko means drum in Japanese) appeared to be praciticing for a festival, and look at those moves! They combine drumming and dancing with an aerobic workout. And yet they were all in long pants in 80ish (Fahrenheit) degree weather, while I was in shorts!
