jidokan (children's hall)
I just love these jidokans all around Tokyo. There is one a few streets away from our hotel! Perfect for a rainy day or a playgroup, and we didn't know about it. We've spent so much time wandering all over Tokyo, but paid little attention to the area of Nishi-Shinjuku and its surroundings.

We joined a playgroup this morning with three other moms and toddlers. Each of the toddlers were right around the same age, so Andrew had a great time with his new friends, and of course with his "old friend" Skye.

After playgroup, we went back to one of the mom's apartment and ordered lunch in (from Pizza Hut!). The kids had a blast playing together a little longer. They even joined Quenby in a "sewing circle" for a few quiet moments!
