About Blog

Instead of bombarding our friends & family with mounds of pictures every single day I've created this blog.

You can access it anytime of day or night, & when you get bored reading my commentary, you can always look at the pictures & go about your day.

You can expect at least a post a day most every day, including pictures, so refresh often! Also, be sure to sign the guestbook (located here) to let us know you've visited.

Service - Even on Da Planes!:

I can't believe I've been in Japan just over 2 weeks, and I've already had 4 round-trip flights to Yonago. And I made a realization this last trip over there - how they "prepare" the seatbelts in each seat so that they are all nicely placed on each seat (so you dont have to reach over under someone's butt to 'get' your seatbelt). I tell ya, the service and detail you get in Japan just amazes me. Makes me dislike living in the U.S. more and more:

Did I mention that in many places (especially Tokyo), gas stations (most of them full-service) stop traffic for you? They also always wipe (semi-wash) your whole car. Yoshii-san said "that is expected normal service." Posted by Picasa
