Packed in the Train Like Sardines?
I've only experienced rush hour in Tokyo once, by accident. I make sure to avoid it at all costs, especially because I have Andrew. The conductors, at times, even have to push people in in order to close the doors. Not something my "need my space" personality is ready to endure.
Last evening, we went to a department store a couple of stops away (on a line we don't normally travel). It was 9:10pm, and the train going the opposite way from us was PACKED! Check out all the men in business suits just then going home from work. And we complain about how late our husbands work in the US!
